Finance Committee

Mission

The funding committee exists to provide assurance that the GCPTA revenue meets or exceeds forecast demand.

Objectives and Goals

Objective 1: Sponsor and fund GCPTA Committee activities

Champion: Bill Raley

Goals:

• Acquire/allocate needed funding for any assistance needed as approved by the Executive Committee
• Develop plan to assure adequate funding for future efforts

Objective 2: Assure funding exists enabling staff to meet their objectives

Champion: Steve Ames

Goals:

• Review requests to provide funding for approved activities
• Align and approve requests per budgetary constraints

Objective 3: Provide funding for equipment and facilities

Champion: Bill Raley

Goals:

• Itemize list of needed facilities according to staff needs (Admin. Assistant and Exec. Director to provide input)
• Develop budget to assure funding

Objective 4: Develop and present the annual GCPTA budget

Champion: John Payne

Goals:

• Communicate with committees to determine and prioritize needs
• In conjunction with committees, estimate funding necessary to enable success for each committee
• Identify and recommend activities that will generate short and long-term funding
• Coordinate such activities to generate funds as needed
